Welcome to the board, bhatfield!

And thanks for the info about the bar - it'd be interesting to hear some of her stories.

So you guys should post the directions on how to get to this house, because I would love to just see it. Maybe in the daytime, try to go inside a little bit. It's in Zanesville? Sounds like a plan. I'm gonna Google Bagley House. :D

I was in White Cottage this afternoon and I was trying to scope out the Bagley House, but I'm not sure I found it. I read that it's the blue house, which is the last house on Bagley Road going out of town. However, the last three houses going out of town on Bagley were all blue (What are the chances?) and they all looked lived in. Did I get misdirected? It's just a few minutes from me and I'm by there all the time, so if I can find the place, I'll try and get some pics.

I found a pic of it here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mexicaliblues/2129217240/

I don't know where this is. Further out Bagley Road on the other side of St Rt 22 I guess. Does anyone know about how far out of town this is?

alright , so i actually just visited the bagley house sat. september 20 .. and i went up there with 4 other people .. well when we got there the house looked scary from the outside but i thought everything they said would happen was just a lie so we got out of the car and everyone was scared to go in so i said i will go first b/c i doubt anything will happen anyway , well we walked into one room and nothing happened then we wanted to take pictures so everyone walked outside to get there cameras but me and my friend so i said well lets walk into this room and see whats in here .. we looked around the room then this white flash that was in the shape of a body flashed infront of us i immediatley screamed and ran out of there .. so we sat in the car deciding if we wanted to go back in or not b/c at this time we are all scared to death now , so we get back out of the car and stand around just looking at the house and we heard a little girl scream but we just listened to make sure it wasn't us over reacting .. well then we heard a dog bark and start grawling and it sounded like it was right beside us so we jumped in the car and speed out of there but right as we got out of the driveway this OLDER truck came OUT OF NOWHERE and flew up on the back of our car with the brights on and kept flashing them on us and followed us for a good while then eventually just turned on a road and was gone ... but let me tell you that is one of the scariest things i've ever been through in my life , and im deff. planning on going back there SOON .. and getting pictures b/c i only got one of the outside of the house

I've been past there a few times since I last posted but I haven't had my camera with me and I never pulled in. For those wondering how to find the place, just head out of White Cottage on Bagley Road, and on the lefthand side, maybe a mile out of town, right where Bagley and Wesley Chapel t-off, there it is, can't miss it. It's way back off the road, away from prying eyes, but there are a couple houses on the other side of the road. Truthfully, I doubt I'd even pull in, because I really value not being arrested.

I still haven't checked this place out, but it sounds like a lot of people have had creepy experiences there.

I just visited the Bagley house tonight. I didn't really see anything but damn was it creepy.
My camera did stop working though, like I had read in previous posts. It just blacked out. It turned back to normal as soon as I left.

I don't think I would have enough guts to go inside or at least close to it. I shot this picture from the road. It was one of the only ones that turned out and I took about 100.

People say a lot of the times with this sight in general, you can't see the pictures clearly once its blown up. I found that to be true.

I must say, that place does look creepy as hell. Camera stopped working eh? Sounds like the problems I had with my camera in certain places... it'd either stop working or start taking pictures on its own.

I wouldn't mind going with you, if I could work out the time. I'll have to check back to the first posts to see where this place is located to make sure I could make it. That place definitely looks like I'd enjoy checking it out... although just looking at the picture creeps me out to no end. Odd... that usually doesn't happen with pictures or any place in general really... maybe I SHOULD go!

EDIT: With it being burned inside and what not, doubt I'd like to go. I mean, I'd love to, but if I can't go in and explore without fear of killing myself due to unstable floors, there's no point in going just to see the outside, considering the drive time.

I have been the bagley house many times... I personally have never had a camera or equipment stop working and have gotten some great pictures... due to crash of comp. i cannot post them.. although anyone who has been there and has experienced the woman would not need to see what she looks like again.. This picture was the woman in the top left window of the house. My friends and I try to explore many places to find new stuff.. The bagley house is def the freakiest... the first time i went i didnt go in because there was a dead raccoon hanging in the door way. This was the night i got the picture of the woman figure in the window. The second time we went i did enter the house.. I must say i was put to ease when we entered although i kept feeling a presence on the second floor room.. like it was watching us. The wall is not there so you can see right up into it. The house is in bad condition and i have been told it was recently caught on fire again. The third time we went back was with more people and we heard crying from the back shed and footsteps in the house.. We started to enter and there was about 6 of us.. I was in the very back. On the wall inside the house in red spray paint it says death is behind you, naturally we all looked.. when we laughed and turned back around something grabbed my arm. It was red where there was pressure around my arm. When we got back in the car, which had just came out of the shop and been washed the same day, on the mirror there was a tiny handprint like it slid down the mirror. Well we went back again with a few other friends to show them. Once again i did not go in the house. When the boys entered the house there was nothing in the rooms, they climbed out a window and went out back. They then decided to go back in and there was a little red ball on the floor in front of the window that they had just climbed out of with no ball in front of it. Within my group of friends id say all of us have been there and have experianced many things... pictures of a door with a boys hands on the doorway and a face screaming like hes trying to get out while getting sucked in, crying in the backyard shed, and footsteps. I swear to you that this is all true and have many people who will confirm this story.

Any ideas about what? How to post pictures?

You can send them to Beth if she's interested in posting. The other option would be uploading pictures to Flikr or such and then linking them to the message board here.

Is this still there? I drove past it a while back and it looked like it fell in or something. I guess the leaves could have just been blocking it out, but it definitely looked like a large part of it was no longer standing.

My name's Carrie, and I've been to the Bagley House multiple times. I don't reccomend going alone. It is now burnt down , nothing much remains except the shed outside behind where the house used to stand, and the barn, which is totally caved in. There is no possible way to get in anymore because the floor burnt up along with eveything else. As a precaution if you do go out there, take a few flashlights, because there is nails and lumber laying everywhere in the yard along with thorn bushes and other trees and weeds. There are also animals that are up there that sometimes can attack. I was just there about 3 days ago, and we went for about 5 days straight. Every night that we went, we saw something different. It is a creepy place and just pulling in and seeing the old burnt down abandoned house gives you chills. You can instantly feel the energy from something that still remains there. I drive a Chrysler Sebring convertible, and the first night we went out there I drove along with my roommate Ashley. When we got there, we got out and walked straight to the shed, which is where we previously found a human femur hidden under the floorboards, so if you go in there and see that there is a big hole in the floorboards that would be because of myself . (: we recorded a video, and saw a white figure standing in front of us, so we left. As we were running out to the cars, we heard this God awful scream, and we got in the cars and left, but when I went to pull out of the driveway , my car battery started to die, and the headlights were dimming by the second. The same thing happened to Ashleys car. The cell phones all died, along with my nieces MP3 player. When we went back, I personally became possessed by the father that shot himself in the barn. I don't remember much from that certain night obviously, but it was some scary shit. We have some pictures and a video from the nights that we've gone out there, a we've seen just about evrything, from shaddows to full body apparitions. I've done my research and basically the man who murdered his children , murdered them upstairs in the bedroom, then proceeded to go to the barn and shoot himself in the head. We've see all of the people who lived there at one time or another. And when we left there the last time, whoever was with us kept whispering "where's johnny boy?" and of course we replied " I dont know who that is,?" and it was very creepy to find out that one of the boys who was murdered by his father there was named johnny boy. I plan to go back out there tomorrow, if anyone else would like to join hit m up, carriexlynne@gmail.com or badboy_16_2007@hotmail.com is my friends cj, an we will replie to you as soon as possible. I'll keep you guys all updated.

Also, that same night with the car btteries dying, myself, my niece, and my other roommate Candy went to WalMart right after leaving the house. When we got out of the house, all of us felt that our skin was on fire, like someone had tried to cut us, or hit us. We didn't know what to think when we lifted our shirts to find bloody scratches all over our bodies, along with handprint bruises on us when no one had touched us. We have the pictures we took after leaving to see the damage, It was crazy but we still continue to go out there. You don't have to believe anything I have to say , but this is all very true and we have documented everything that has happened.

I went out to the Bagley house yesterday with friends! The driveway is LONG. And from the time we stepped out of the car we were covered in ticks! I would say between the four of us there were over a hundred ticks found! And due to the high weeds we didnt go near the house. It is in very bad shape . Has been on fire! We didnt think to take the camera up the hill. And by the time we were up there all we could think about was getting back down.

I found a video link from you tube with the grounds and driveway leading up there. I hope it helps in someone elses finds!
