well my first suggestion would be to think about joining an established group, try running an internet search for local groups. but if thats not to your liking I'd suggest going to the Library and seeing if they have some books on the subject.
I go out with a few regulars to do my ghost hunting but we havent offically formed a group with a name and insignia or anything, but I just recruited from my friends, asking if any of them were interested in going ghost hunting.

First, welcome to the board!! I'd recommend joining other boards also. If you don't have any other friends/family members interested in the paranormal, you're bound to meet some other people from your area that do on the boards. Once you get a group of people together, starting a website is a great way to let everyone keep in touch, and to recruit new members.

thank you for the advice. Here's my problem, everyone I know that's interested in hunting with me lives far away, and there are no groups in my area. I live in a very republican kind of place if you know what I mean. So, I guess I'll start here. If there's anyone out there that lives in the Nebraska panhandle and would be interested in starting a group let me know!
