I enjoyed visiting the Hopewell Cemetery over Memorial Day weekend of 2007.

On my first visit, Hopewell was not an easy cemetery to find!

And, just as I was exiting and closing the cemetery gate, I saw and heard a big barking dog running toward me; making my desire to gaze back and linger awhile give way to walking rapidly to open the car door - which I did right before the dog arrived and would have jumped up on me, or worse.

I am glad to see more postings for this cemetery which has a lost and lonely look to it. I hope to see more tombstone photos for it.

I haven't visited Hopewell Cemetery yet, but it looks like one I should add to my list.
