Hi everyone, I read a note by Chris, that said something about cremation. here is something you may have never thought about. in the book 30 years among the dead, a book where the dead tell about what being dead is like, what they do and why. they tell about being creamated and &#Autopsies.
think about this... I often sit watching medical show where surgery is performed, my wife can't stand these type shows, at times even I cringe at the sight of what i am seeing... just as many of you would. now imagine if that were you on the table? well, that's how it is when your dead. for all your life you have identified you as the body, now finding your self it a dream like condition outside the body, are still connected to that body, many think they are not dead but dreaming or having an OBE and even lay down inside the body. they are aware of what is going on... then someone comes in and starts cutting them apart looking for why they died.... died??? why your still alive!!! and you are being killed by this strange.... to put it bluntly it pure hell seeing this. in time, you will come to know you are dead, but do you really want to go thru this hell. it would be far better to give some time for the spirit to learn of it death, before slicing and dicing of the body. for god sake man they are your loved one. someone need to go to the body and tell it what has happened. I know that sound nuts, but do you want to go thru that.
and how about cremation.... most of us don't want to burn to death... I think it ranks as one of the most feared deaths, to be burnt to death. why then do we cremate bodies. it isn't wrong to do, but not so soon man. not before ten days. at ten days, if they haven't moved on, burning them will get them on their way.
my point is, I know we all need to get on with our live's, be they after or in life, but lets just think about it, slow down. you may not have any say in what is done after others death, but you do have say in your own final arrangements ... your choice... your hope was to die in a peaceful way... well, it aint over when it's over... learn what the dead have to say... see post 30 years among the dead, it will change your life... sorry if that a problem for you... Ed

What's the best way then? Wouldn't being buried be just as bad then? I mean, who wants to be buried alive?! Certainly not me!!!

what the dead have reported, is that it is far better to be cremated. just not so soon after death. very often the dead don't know they have passed. they still see the body as being them. they report, that cremation of the body is better, in that the body is distroyed, freeing them from the desire to return to see how it is doing. thats right, the dead return to their decaying body over and over again for many years, sliping into it like and old suit. it's gross, they hate it, just like we do, but they are drawn to it.
maybe we should hang a message around the dead bodies neck, for the spirit to read... " this body is dead, will be cremated in 5 days..."please go into the light...

I know this is kind of an old thread. But would you happen to remember what section of the book you read this in? I've found a copy of the book that can be read online..but have no idea where to look for this section. :)

I think it was at the part where the spirit had haunted a Mortician who was teaching student Mortician. the spirit was tring to stop the Mortician form cutting his body up. in short he followed the Mortician home causing him big problems until forcefully removed & made aware of his death and condition. he reported how he felt about what was done to his body. a very interesting read... I almost don't want to say, some of you might not like to know this, you know it happens, but think it is only in extream cases. it is the normal condition in your life and mine. you are likely not alone in your body. the dead who don't cross over seek out person who they can inhabit, some by design, some are by accident, but you reading this are likely occupied or influenced by someone or several ghost. most are harmless, but if you are intuitive, guess why? you aint alone, you can hear and even see things threw who's eye's. do you wonder why you think you were reincarnated??? well maybe it aint your memories. the point is, this ghost, driven in anger, not thinking slipped into this doctor, and really messed him up, this doctor was brought to Dr. wickland, who with a electrical treatment forcefully removed the spirit, where the spirit was "long story" placed within another trained sensitive and brought to understanding about what has happened to it, in short, they converse... extreamly interesting and very funny... a must read book...http://www.collectmyflock.com/CollectMyFlock/Book/01--00__TOC__30_Years_Among_the_Dead__000.html if you want to understand ghost, then you had better get to know more about them, so why not hear what they have to say.
