Warner-Pine Grove Memorial Cemetery is located on the east side of MA-21 (Turkey Hill Road) in Belchertown, Massachusetts (Hampshire County).
Warner-Pine Grove Memorial Cemetery was established in 1925. It was used as the burial ground for indigent patients who died while living at the Belchertown State School, operated by the Massachusetts Department of Mental Retardation. The school was closed in 1992, and the cemetery closed with it. For many years it was forgotten and neglected. However, Albert Warner, a former resident, and his wife started a project to restore the cemetery. It was rededicated in 1998.
Many thanks to Ta Mara C. for taking me to this cemetery!
