On December 26, 2009 I received an e-mail from Tristan about an interesting ouija board experience:


My name is Tristan, and I'd like to tell you about my first ouija board experience. I got one for Christmas this year, so I took it over to my friend's house today and tried it out. The first time we tried it out, it went very slowly and we finally said we would leave and then come back. So we told it goodbye, and closed the board. We got back on a few minutes later and started talking with a guy named Dave. When we asked him his name, he spelled out the initials of a high school. We asked him if he meant a school, and he told us yes. Then we asked him if he died at school, and he said yes. We asked him how he died. It moved to S, and then stopped. We asked him if he meant "shot," and he said yes. Then we asked him what year it was when he died. Then it went to 16, and we asked him if that meant he was 16 when he died. He said no, and then we asked if he died 16 years ago. He said yes. After that, he said goodbye. He seemed like a very shy spirit. That was my very first experience with a ouija board, and I can't wait to try it again.
