On July 24, 2009 I received an e-mail from Suzanne and Deanna about an interesting ouija board experience:
We played at Suzanne's house, which is next to a cemetery. We started at 11:11 PM.
Us: Is there anyone here?
Board: yes
Us: Are you a kind spirit?
Board: yes
Us: What's your name?
Board: NWL
Us: Are those your initials?
Board: maybe
Us: Did you die here?
Board: maybe
Us: Are you buried in the cemetery?
Board: yes
Us: When did you die?
Board: 1978
Us: Do you have any unfinished business?
Board: yes
Us: Is it revenge?
Board: yes
(we started to hear some noises like banging coming from behind us, outside in the direction of the cemetery)
Us: Are you trying to scare us?
Board: maybe
Us: Will you hurt us?
Board: No
Us: Can you make a sound?
Board: OWETTHUMP
(no sounds)
Us: How many words is that?
Board: 3
(after some unscrambling, we decided it was probally o wet thump)
Us: Is it "O WET THUMP?"
Board: yes
(at this point it was raining and my sky light began to leak, which it never has before, and water was hitting the carpet with a wet thumping noise)
Us: Are you causing that?
Board: yes
Us: Should we continue?
Board: yes
Us: What time should we stop?
Board: no
Us: Can we stop before 1:00 AM?
Board: yes
(the curtains in the room and the candle flames began to blow even though all the windows were closed, and there were no fans or air conditioners on)
Us: Are you doing that?
Board: yes
Us: What time should we stop?
Board: 14
Us: 14?
Board: yes
I happened too look up and notice that it was 12:14 AM. We freaked out, threw the board, and turned on the lights! It was a scary experience, and we hope to continue these experiences and have longer connections with the dead as we love being scared!
