Stanley Cemetery is located on Stilwell Hill Road outside Dresden, Ohio (Madison Township, Muskingum County). The coordinates are 40° 7' 23.24" N, 81° 56' 42.89" W.

Stanley Cemetery, also known as Pleasant Hill Cemetery, was established in the 1820's. It is located in an isolated location, which has made it attractive to vandals. While many gravestones have been damaged, many are still standing. The cemetery grounds are very well maintained by the township.
