On November 30, 2009 I received an e-mail from Soccer about an interesting ouija board experience:


It's me, Soccer, again! Well, I would just like to say the ouija is the best! Anyway, a couple weeks ago, maybe even two months, I played the Ouija with my friend, GalPal. Well this night was a great night, especially for her first time. This is how it went:

We were getting no success at first, not at all! I was really getting bummed out! Then I thought if I summoned someone I knew then it would start to work out better. So I summoned Jim, which is really stupid because in another Ouija session I talked to Jim over the summer, and...well, he didn't like me very much. But anyways...

Me: Jim, if you are there please come talk to us!
Board: I hate you

Then things started to get worse - he got more angry and it was scary! So GalPal and I tried to trick him.

Us: OMG! Look, there's fudge at the bottom of the board from all that delicious triple chocolate cake we ate!

Well the pointer went straight to goodbye where the "chocolate" was.

Then we got better results.

Me: Is anyone there?
Board: Yes

Us: HI!
Board: heyy!

Me: What's your name?
Board: Dana

Dumb little questions like that kept going on until we got bored, so we told Dana goodbye.

Me: Anyone there?
Board: Yes

Us: Hey!
Board: hi!

Me: What's your name?
Board: Owen

Me: Aww! I love that name, it's so cute!
GalPal: I know, it's adorable.
Board: thanks!

That's when funny questions started coming in!

Me: Am I beautiful? #giggles#
GalPal: Yeah, aren't we beautiful?
Board: OMG yeah!

Me: Do you like talking to us?
Board: o yeah!

Me: Who do you hate?
Board: the boys in your class

Me: Why?
Board: they get to hang out with you girls.

It was so much fun talking to Owen! Then later we found out he could read my mind!

Me: What am I thinking of?
Board: BED

GalPal: Were you?
Me: Of course! I am so tired!

By that time we had been playing for like three hours straight! So we went to bed thinking and mumbling of Owen until we fell asleep.

Then two days ago I played with my friend Stepdancer. There was no luck with my pink real Ouija board, so I decided we should make our own. And guess what!?!?!?!? You could have guessed it! We spoke to Owen!

Me: Owen, how many spirits are in this room?
Board: 5

Me: Do I know them?
Board: Yes

Stepdancer and I start rattling off names: Jim?
Board: yes

Us: Taz?
Board: Yes

Us: Dana
Board: Yes

Us: You?!?!!?!?!?
Board: hmmmmmm

We all start to laugh.

Us: Well, that's four, but who's left?
Board: u

Us: We dont know a U!!!!!!!!!!!!
Board: I know!

Now Stepdancer had known all these people because I had told her all my stories, because she thought she needed preparation to play.

Then Owen told me some of the secrets of people I know...Shh!!!!!!! It was funny! It was just like the last time. But this one part of the conversation kinda boggled my mind!

Stepdancer: What will I be when I get a job when I am older?
Board: Caterer

Stepdancer: Eh!
Me: *I start giggling like crazy* What will I be when I get older?
Board: vampire

I gasp like I died and fell on the floor pretending to choke. Stepdancer and I start laughing like crazy. Now even though we covered this up with laughter, I did wonder about this for the whole next 2 hours we played. I am still wondering about it now. But Owen was fun like that - he surprises you with the funnest of things! But also if you look around my room, you do see many posters of my favorite book series involving vampires so he might have just taken it from that, but lol, it's still funny.
