The abandoned Stearns and Foster Factory is located in Lockland, Ohio (Hamilton County).
The Stearns and Foster Company was founded in 1846. The factory produced cotton wadding, and later batting, mattresses, non-woven textiles, insulation, and other assorted cotton products. The factory was HUGE. There were multiple buildings with over one-millon square feet of space. It was in operation until 2003. The factory buildings were sold in 2004.
The photos on this page are from August 2008. We had permission to visit the factory - sneaking into this place is just about impossible.
