On August 1, 2009 I received an e-mail from Serena about an interesting ouija board experience:
I was just sitting around with my cousins, I will call them Belinda and Craig. We were at our grandma's house, and we were totally bored, so we decided to make our own Ouija board out of cardboard and a permanent marker. We didn't think it would work at first. We thought maybe we could talk to our grandfather who died fourteen years ago and maybe see where he is. We didn't have a spirit guide at first when we started.
My cousin Belinda, being eleven, wrote the conversation down.
Us: Is there a spirit that would like to contact us?
Board: Yes
Us: Is there a good spirit that would like to contact us?
Board: Yes
Us: Can we speak to it?
Board: Yes
Us: Hello
Board: (slowly moving to spell it out) Hi
Us: What is your name?
Board: H.M
Us: Are those your initials?
Board: Yes
Us: What do they stand for?
Board: Henry Morgan
Us: So you're a male?
Board: Yes
Us: Do you know our Grandfather?
Board: No
Us: Alright, do you know any of us?
Board: Yes
Us: How? And Who?
Board: Serena
Board: 1537
Us: 1537? Like where?
Board: England
Us: How again?
Board: Past Life
Us: Really?
Board: I loved you
Us: ...Ok...
Board: I was a past life husband of yours
Us: Alrighty then, what was my name?
Board: Jane Rose Morgan
Us: Interesting.
Board: We lived in Manchester
Us: How did I die? (Craig starts laughing up a storm)
Board: Old Age
Us: How did you die?
Board: Murder
Us: Who?
Board: I can't say
Us: Ok, when did you die?
Board: 1542
Us: We met in 1537?
Board: Yes
Us: How old are you?
Board: I die when I was 29
Us: Did we have kids?
Board: A son Henry Rose Morgan A daughter Katherine Morgan
Us: Hi, I'm Craig. Are you bullshitting us?
Board: I don't bullshit
Us: Do I still love you?
Board: Yes you never left your soul
Us: Tell me one thing I never told anyone.
Board: You mean about our Sex life
Us: Whoa, I am only fifteen.
Board: That's the age we got married except I was 19
Us: How interesting. (Craig starts freaking out)
Board: I will have you again Jane
Us: Goodbye
Board: Goodbye Jane
We flipped the board over, and the planchette. We got so freaked out, and we decided to watch t.v., but The Other Boleyn Girl was on, and our Grandma was watching it. I wondered to myself if that was true, or was the guy just being a total goof. Craig and Belinda kept looking at me as if I were crazy. It freaked them out the most. I really kept wondering if he is in another body, and could we end up together again?
That was our Ouija experience.
