Ream Cemetery is one of the oldest in Fairfield County. It was named after Abraham Ream's family. Abraham Ream was a Revolutionary War veteran who was born in Reamstown, Pennsylvania. He and his wife had a giant family - 14 children!! In 1798 Abraham Ream and his family moved to Fairfield County, Ohio. They were the sixth family to settle in the area. They bought their land on Ream's Mill Road (now Horn's Mill Road) for only $1.25 - $4.00 an acre!
