Peoli Cemetery is small. Most of the gravestones are located beside the church, but there are a few older gravestones on the other side of the road. Most of the gravestones are in great condition, but some of the older ones have been damaged. The cemetery grounds are very well maintained.

The most famous person interred in the cemetery is Denton T. "Cy" Young. Cy Young was a Major League Baseball player from 1890-1911. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937. During his career, he pitched 874 Major League baseball games. He "won 511 games, three no hit, and one perfect game in which no man reached first base." There is a winged baseball carving on his gravestone.
