The Old Colony Burying Ground is located on South Main Street in Granville, Ohio in Licking County.

The Old Colony Burying Ground was established in 1805. The last burial was on November 11, 1935 (James P Milne, a World War I veteran). There are several war veterans buried in the cemetery, including some Revolutionary War veterans.

There are several stacks of broken gravestones in the cemetery. However, there is a restoration in progress, hopefully the cemetery will be in much better shape after it has been completed.

For more information about the Old Colony Burying Ground (including a list of all known burials), see Donald D. Young's Old Colony Burying Ground page. He has collected a lot of fantastic historical information about this cemetery.
