Oak Alley Plantation Cemetery is located near the large plantation house at 3645 Highway 18 (Great River Road) in Vacherie, Louisiana (St. James Parish).

Oak Alley Plantation Cemetery is a small cemetery surrounded by a black cast iron fence. When I visited in March 2004, there were only three people and a few pets buried in the cemetery. All the people buried here either lived in the house or were caretakers. I can't even begin to tell you how excited I was when I looked on the plantation map and saw the word "cemetery" :)
