Mumma Cemetery is located off Mummas Lane within the Antietam National Battlefield outside Sharpsburg, Maryland (Washington County). The coordinates are 39° 28' 41" N, 77° 44' 29" W.

Mumma Cemetery is no longer active, and it is cared for by the National Park Service. Because of this, the gravestones are in great shape and the grounds are extremely well taken care of. The cemetery is filled with many old, interesting gravestones.

Mumma Cemetery sits close to the old Mumma Farmstead. The buildings on the farm were burned down by the Confederate troops to prevent Union sharpshooters from using them. These buildings were the only civilian buildings that were destroyed on purpose during the Antietam Battle on September 17, 1862.
