On July 17, 2009 I received another e-mail from Mel about an interesting ouija board experience:
We decided to play the ouija board again. This one lasted really long, and it kept getting interesting. Me (Mel), my cousin (Thalia), and sister (Pri) were playing it in my room at 1:52 AM. It lasted like 45 minutes. We talked to Jake, Eric, and 3 more new spirits.
Thalia: Is anybody here?
Jake: yes

Jake: yes

Mel: Hey, Jake - why did you leave earlier?
