On July 11, 2009 I received an e-mail from Mel about an interesting ouija board experience:


Ok, so me (Mel), my cousin (Thalia), and sister were playing the Ouija board (we are new at this). I was playing, but at the same time I had my laptop and wrote EVERYTHING that it said.

Mel: Is this Martha?
Rose: no

Pri: Are any spirits staying here?
Rose: yes

Thalia: How old are you?
Rose: 19

Thalia: How did you die?
Rose: stabbed

Thalia: Were you stabbed by accident?
Rose: no

Thalia: Did it hurt you?
Rose: yes

Pri: How many minutes did it take you to die?
Rose: 17

Thalia: Do you still think about it?
Rose: yes

Thalia: How many spirits are in here?
Rose: 23

Thalia: 23!?
Pri: 13?
Rose: no

Thalia: Can you try again?
Rose: 8

Thalia: Do you think what I'm doing is cool? (playing with the candle wax)
Rose: no

Thalia: *laughs*
Pri: Do you know anything about our future?
Rose: maybe

Mel: Can we talk to someone else?
Rose: yes

Thalia and Mel: Thank you.
Pri: Is anybody here with us?
Jake: Yes

Thalia: What's your name?
Jake: jak-

Thalia: Jake?
Jake: yes

Thalia: My Jake?
Jake: yes

Thalia had to go, and we said goodbye.
