The McPherson Home is located at 300 East McPherson Highway in Clyde, Ohio (Sandusky County).
The McPherson Home was built in 1833, and it is the childhood home of General James B. McPherson, the highest ranking Union officer killed during the Civil War. There are many fine exhibits in the museum, and lots of information about General McPherson. For more information regarding the home and tours, please visit the official website.
There are many ghostly legends surrounding the McPherson Home. I visited in March 2008, with Buckeye State Paranormal and Haunting Investigators. Many people claim to see apparitions, and many unexplainable sounds are reported. For more information about our investigation there, please click here to visit the BSPHI site.
