The Martinsville Friends Cemetery is located behind the church on the south side of OH-28 in Martinsville, Ohio (Clark Township, Clinton County). The coordinates are 39° 19' 21.48" N, 83° 48' 36.67" W.

The Martinsville Friends Cemetery was established between 1816-1817, and it is no longer active. It was originally known as the Newberry Cemetery; the name was changed in 1962. The first recorded burial was Dorcus Hockett in February 1818. There are many old gravestones, and many are in great condition. However, there are several large stacks of broken gravestones throughout the cemetery. The grounds are very well maintained.

Many thanks to Dave M. for sharing the historical information about this cemetery with me!
