On November 29, 2007 I received an e-mail from Maria C. about an interesting ouija board experience:


This isn't a fairly long story, but it's a good story for my first real ouija board experience. We tried a previous time, but I'd call that a rough start. What we did differently this time is I said a prayer to warm things up (thanks to the tips I read on this website).
v Ria: Is there anyone here that would like to talk to us today?
Board: U GUYS JOKE 2...

(Our house phone suddenly rang, which lead to my dad coming down the stairs informing my friend that the phone was for her. While the phone was ringing I asked...)

Ria: Does the phone bother you?
Board: Yes.

(Once we got settled down, I asked again)

Ria: Are you still there?
Board: Yes.

Ria: What is your name?
Board: Cris

Ria: Do you live in this house, Cris?
Board: Yes.

Ria: Does it bother you when my parents fight?
Board: Yes.

Ria: How old are you?
Board: 12

Ria: What do you think about us?
Board: Cewl

Ria: Do you like us so far, Cris?
Board: Posseblee

Ria: We have to go to bed now, is that okay Cris?
Board: Yes

Ria, Stephanie, Richie: GOODBYE.

I ended this session with a goodbye prayer and put the board in another room, in it's place. It lasted about an hour, and we also noticed a change of temperature in the area where our hands were placed...and only in that area. I have to say it truly confirmed my interest in the paranormal. I know not every experience is going to be good, and it's possible that I could be mislead, but it's nice to know that it's possible and that I'm not alone in my house when I'm alone in the house.
