On November 22, 2009 I received an e-mail from Mackenzie C. about an interesting ouija board experience:
My two friends and I had our first ouija board experience last night.
Before trying the ouija board, we went on various sites and made sure to do everything so we would not be harmed. We followed every precaution we could, we even used my rings though we weren't even sure they were pure silver. We brought two bibles and a cross. We made our own board, and used the cap off of a perfume bottle for the planchette. We said the recommended prayer, Psalm 23, along with the Lord's Prayer. On the first two tries we did not have enough energy with just two people, so my third friend reluctantly joined. We then proceeded to contact several different spirits.
The first, being of the age of 43, would not tell us his name, just his initals. He wanted to talk to me about my love life, and how the guy I like is a pig. He then proceeded to call my other friend's crush a hog. We decided this was not a friendly spirit, and we went to GOODBYE. The next spirit, being of age 23, talked to my third friend about her crush, and told her that he is going to ask her out on December 6th. He also told us many random things about himself. When we asked this friendly spirit to be our spirit guide, it quickly went to GOODBYE.
With the third spirit, being of age 6 and the name Ben, we had much more luck. Ben asked to speak to me personally. He told me that he had a connection with me, and told me to tell his mother (whom I believe I know from his description of her) this message: "I love my mommy." I then decided to ask questions about his mother, and he answered with all the correct answers to the only Catherine I know (he said this was his mother's name). He told me about her interest in dance, and that she wore glasses and had brunette hair. I then asked if he had anything else he wanted to tell me, and told me to tell her husband "Colbi." We sat in silence trying to figure out what this could mean, and he started spelling it again. I asked if that was his dad's name, and he said yes, and then continued to spell "don't forget." We could not understand this message at first, and he seemed to get frustrated with us asking for the second word time and time again. We finally got it right. Ben then said that he wanted to talk to my friend, and told her that the boy she likes is a hog (just like the spirit before him did). She asked if he would take advantage of the realtionship, and the answer was a very clear no, that she would.
We began to run out of questions, so we asked if he knew our names. He then spelled out each of our first names and last names (correctly). We couldn't believe this was real, so we asked if my friend had a cast on her right leg (she had recently broken it), and he answered the correct answer - yes. We then asked what color it was, answering again the correct answer - pink. We got a little scared about him knowing so much about us, and moved back to asking questions about him. He told us that he was a premature baby born in 1991. Trying to get off of this subject, we joked with him a little because he told us that he was sad. We asked him if he thought any of us were pretty (because we had asked so many questions like this to him before, we thought that he would give us a joking answer back again). He then went to GOODBYE.
At this point it was 3 AM, and we decided to do this one last time because the last one was so interesting. We asked, "Is there anyone in the room with us" for the final time. But this time it was different. It was not the gentle push the other spirits had given; this time the cap of the perfume bottle moved very quickly. While we were trying to decide what to ask, the cap started to move again, still very fast and rough. This time it started to spell out "D-E-M." We remembered that it was not to spell the words demon, hell, or anything demonic such as that, and we quickly forced it to goodbye. This time being too scared to do it again with our near bad experience, we ripped the board into seven pieces and put them in holy water. We then went outside and buried the board in the front yard. One of my friends, being very Christian (nothing against the religion at all), went to church the next morning and called me and my other friend saying that we shouldn't have done it, and that we could still have bad things happen to us. The other friend and I who were so intrigued by the board are planning to do this again soon, and we are hoping to not receive any evil spirits this time.
