A Friend's Grandmother

December 10, 2009

On December 10, 2009 I received an e-mail from Jade about an interesting ouija board experience:

This event occurred on my birthday, a few weeks ago, November 14th.

We all got bored, so one of my friends said, "We can make our own ouija board, we don't have to buy one." We were all excited, especially me, because I had never done it before. The first few times it was slow, but we reached a couple people,. It sadly included this little boy, and a still living psychic in another U.S. state. Anyways, my friend Eleanor and I decided to request someone, and she wanted to talk to her grandmother who had just died recently.

The freaky part wasn't the part of identifying who she was, but it was that the spirit spelled everything out correctly, answered correctly, and I was barely touching the piece, and Eleanor wasn't pushing it either. The part I remember the most was when Eleanor asked, "What game did we used to play, at your house?" Eleanor told us after we said goodbye to her. But the ouija board said, "Dress up," when Eleanor thought of "Bubbles." The most amazing part is...I never met her grandmother or even heard of her except for that one night, and everything we asked was correct...age, family, who was with her when she died, who Eleanor's friends were, where she lived, who her husband was, when she died, just so many things like that. It made me a believer in the ouija board.
