On December 5, 2009 I received an e-mail from Fiona about an interesting ouija board experience:


I'm Fiona, and this was my first time with the Ouija board.

I went to a birthday party, December 4th, 2009, and I wanted to play the ouija board. We started asking it random questions, but the birthday girl wanted to contact a spirit (There were 4 people...sometimes 5, because her little brother kept getting scared).

Us: Are we talking to a spirit?
Spirit: yes

Us: What is your name?
Spirit: Walter

Us: What year did you die?
Walter: 1865

Us: How did you die?
Walter: Mother

Us: Your mother murdered you?
Walter: yes

Us: How old were you?
Walter: 14

My friend: Are you straight? (I said it was 1865, I don't think he knows what that means)
Walter: I not no (I think he meant I don't know)

My friend: Are you cute?!
Walter: sorta

Then I had to leave the party. The birhtday girl said this was the first time it worked. And I REALLY want to try it again.
