On August 9, 2009 I received an e-mail from Emilee about an interesting ouija board experience:


My grandmother 'nana' (Edna) passed away when I was 13; four years ago. Her car was given to me after her death. A couple years later and I totaled the car. So, my friends and I decided to make a homemade Ouija board one day for fun, but I had more than fun in store.

Emilee: Is there anyone nice that we can talk to?
Board: Yes.

Emilee: What is your name?
Board: Edna.

Emilee: Is this my nana? I love you.
Board: Yes, I love you very much Emilee Louise.

(I had to see if my friends were moving it, so I asked questions that they didn't know.)

Emilee: How old were you when you died?
Board: 77.

Emilee: How old is my mom?
Board: 50.

Emilee: Are you mad that I crashed the Hyundai?
Board: No.

Emilee: Were you with me when I crashed?
Board: Yes. You would be dead.

Emilee: Why would I be dead?
Board: If I wasn't with you.

Emilee: Do you watch over me?
Board: Of course, everyday.

Emilee: Are you proud of me?
Board: Yes Of course.

(This is where my friends jump in because they knew her too.)

Jazzmine: I'm sorry about you falling into the wet toilet.
Board: Hahahahahaha.

All: Is there anything you need to tell us?
Board: I love you all

This is the part where we all start crying. It was so sad, she was such a good person. I still go on the Ouija board to talk to her occasionally.
