On March 28, 2009 I received an e-mail from Danielle about an interesting ouija board experience:


Me, Danielle, and my boyfriend, Jacob, talked to Esnaq.

Jacob says a prayer.
We move the oracle and say: ouija, ouija, ouija.

Jacob: Are there any spirits in this house?
nothing happens

Danielle: Are there any spirits in this room?
Board: yes

Danielle: What is your name? Spell it please.
Board: ESNAQ

Jacob: Is your name Esnaq?
Board: yes

Jacob: If you're uncomfortable to answer a question, move in a circle.

Danielle: Are you female?
Board: no VERY SAD

Jacob: Why are you sad?
Board: DEAD RICK

Jacob: How long has Rick been dead? Please answer us in years.
Board: 247

Danielle: Maybe that's a date.
Jacob: Did Rick die on February 4, 2007?
Board: no

Jacob: So 247 years?
Board: yes

Jacob: What is Rick's last name?
Board: SOKAUAS

Jacob: Is that really his name?
Board: no

Jacob: Are you joking with us?
Board: yes

Jacob: Are you the only spirit in the room?
Board: (does 2 circles)

Danielle: We are going to bed, goodbye.
Board: (almost goes to goodbye, but then begins to go to no)

Danielle: (she stopped it from going to no, and we flipped the board over and said goodnight.)

Throughout the session, whenever it was going slow, Jacob asked it to speed up and it did.
