On March 8, 2009 I received an e-mail from Daniela K. about an interesting ouija board experience:
I am 13 years old, and I have a story I would like to share. I'd also like to share what I learned from it.
Ok, so I'm with my brother, Lance (11), and 3 friends: Tyler (13), Kian (14), and Chris (14). We are in Chris' room playing the ouija board, talking to Kian's dead grandpa. All of a sudden Chris turns on the light. At that very moment, my mom calls saying that our house suddenly turned freezing, and she heard a gigantic crash. My five year old brother started crying. So Chris' dad goes to my house to investigate, but nothing was there. Then I was starting to feel sick, and Kian actually was sick and had to go home (we are all neighbors). So my mom, Lance, Tyler, and Chris played again until the ghost said goodbye. After that, I felt much better. So the main point is that players do not want to quit without either the ghost/spirit or the player saying goodbye.
