The Clyde Public Library is located at 222 West Buckeye Street in Clyde, Ohio (Sandusky County).

The Clyde Public Library is over one hundred years old. It is a beautiful facility, and the staff is very friendly. But why I am posting photos of a library on my site? Well, in June 2007 I attended a ghost hunt with BSPHI (my favorite paranormal investigation group). Seems visitors and staff have experienced some creepy things there. It is believed that the library may be haunted. People hear unexplainable sounds, and have a strange "being watched" feeling while in the building. Also, there have been reports of the fire alarms sounding for no reason.

In October 2007 I received the following observation from Jessica Sanchez:

I was looking at your page and found something. It could be nothing, I don't know about lighting and stuff like that. But anyway, I circled it in red.

I received some additional photo observations from Ivy in July 2007:

In the first picture, I feel that I see three people. They are looking out at the photograhper. And in the second photo, the person I see forms more clearly.

It seems to me to be a female, leaning against the window with one hand as if she is waiting for someone, perhaps. She seems to be wearing a maid uniform, and has dark hair. Light apron, and classic outfit: A dark dress, and the maid-thingy on the head. The fingers of her right hand are pressing lighty with the tips against the window, as people tend to do when watching for someone or something.

This apparition seems to have light, wavy hair, maybe 10 centimeters past the shoulders. She is wearing a golden outfit, perhaps a dress or a long shirt. The dress also seems old, perhaps just past victorian style. And maybe she is wearing some sort of chain around the neck. The apparition may be male, but I can't say for sure...the image distorts as it gets scaled. My first thought was a female presence, because there seems to be a lot of softness and perhaps grief in this one.
