On July 8, 2009 I received an e-mail from Brooke H. about an interesting ouija board experience:


The other day my friend and I bought a Ouija board, just for the heck of it. I had used one before when I was a little kid, but nothing ever really happened. It was all just for fun, really. So, once we got home, we turned all the lights out except for one lamp and started asking the Ouija board some questions. Nothing happened after several questions were asked, so we just sat there for a while. A few minutes later my friend posted on a website, "Suck it, Ouija Board." She then got up to turn on the light. As soon as she flipped the switch, the light popped and cracked, then went out. I don't know if that happened because of the Ouija board or not, but it freaked us out. We didn't "sign out" or anything with the board, because it was all for fun and we were first-time users of the board. We didn't try to contact and spirits or anything. Now my friend says she occasionally sees a little girl with long dark hair around the ages of 10-12 around her room. I'm not sure if this is her imagination or what, but it sure is creepy to know.
