On November 22, 2007 I received an e-mail from Logan about an interesting ouija board experience:
My buddies and I decided to go to a cemetery because they say all this ouija crap is real. The previous night they went to the cemetery and they asked if there was anyone there with them, and it spelled out DEATH. Well, I didn't believe them when they said it was real, so we went the next night which was a Friday. We asked if there was anyone there with us, and it went to yes. So then we asked if it was a good spirit or a mad spirit, and it spelled out good. We asked if it was near one of us and it went to yes. Now, there were like seven of us, all with different first initials. Logan (which is me, by the way), Kyle, Steve, Jenna, Bridget, and Christian, besides Jonny who was playing, but Jenna never touched the board so it didn't know her. We asked the board if it liked one of us, and if it did to spell out the first initial. It went to K...Kyle. Bridget was all like, "Nuh uh, I ain't losin' my man to no ghost." And this is an old cemetery. The first founder of the school is buried there, and it was a school since the late 1800's. So we asked the board if it was a male or female, and it went to F. We asked her if she was in the Civil War. It went to yes. Then we asked her how old she was...she was 39, wasn't married, and had no kids. We asked her if she was buried in the cemetery, and she said yes. Then we asked for her name and initials. Her name was Steph. Her initials were S,G,W. We never found out the middle and last name, but we did ask her if we could find her grave and she said yes. So we set off and there were like 7 broken, old, tombstones that weren't even there anymore. So regardless of a pointless search, we will never know if her grave was one of the missing ones or if it's all fake. I still don't really believe in this superstition. But I do want to talk to that asshole ghost named Dug that Todd and Beth were talking to. I'll try that one out tomorrow night.
