Bigelow Pioneer Cemetery (also known as the Chuckery or Burgher Cemetery) is located on the west side of Rosedale Road, about a ½ mile south of OH-161, outside Chuckery, Ohio (Pike Township, Madison County). The coordinates are 40 6' 35.14" N, 83 25' 9.8" W.

Bigelow Pioneer Cemetery is no longer an active cemetery. It is now a state nature preserve owned and maintained by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. The ownership of the land was transferred from the Pike Township trustees to the ODNR on September 13, 1978. Bigelow Cemetery has never been plowed, and animals have never grazed there. Therefore, it is an excellent example of the tall grass prairies that were found throughout the Darby Plains when settlers first arrived to the area. There are many native grasses and wildflowers growing among the gravestones, even some rare plants.
