On September 6, 2009 I received an e-mail from Amy about an interesting ouija board experience:


Hi, my name is Amy. A couple of nights ago, my friends Hammy and John wanted to play the Ouija board. I gave in. We were in my basement. The setting was creepy enough. Lucky me, the board was glow in the dark. I switched off all the lights, and we sat on the floor. We started off with basic questions. Like "How many days till school starts?" We only felt a tad bit movement. So we closed our eyes and focused on the question. When we opened our eyes, the pointer was slighty close to a number. The number was right.

Hammy and I stuck to the basic questions. Only my friend John aould ask the creepy one. His question was, "What year did you die?" As soon as he had asked that, I had chills and the number 1980 came into my head. At least five minutes later we looked up, and the pointer hadn't moved. I felt someone sitting on my left. No one was there. I told the guys the answer I got. They looked at me strangely. Then more information came into my mind. I was freaked out for a bit. I shared the information. It was that a girl had died in 1980, and she had commited suicide in my basement.

After a few more questions, I felt chills but none of our questions were answered. We ended up stopping. About half an hour later we remembered that we forgot to close our game. It was about 9 PM when we did this. Maybe we needed to wait later. We decided to not replay. Later that night, when I was sleeping in my room, I woke up many times with a chill. After reading a few stories on this website, it has inspired me to play the Ouija board even more. Hopefully I'll have more stories.
