On September 15, 2009 I received an e-mail from Amanda J. about an interesting ouija board experience:


This is a continuation of my conversation with Max from my story on August 25. We tried to talk to him a few days later, and it seemed as though he was right there waiting for us...

Me: Max, are you around today?
Board: Yes

Me: How are you doing today?
Board: Mazzy (my cat's name)

Me: Mazzy? Are you playing with Mazzy?
Board: Yes

Me: Tom (the other spirit who lives in my house) always plays with Mazzy too.
Board: All cats see us

Me: Do you have anything you want to tell us today?
Board: I like your house

Me: Thanks, you said that before. Anything else?
Board: I love talking to you

Me: We like talking to you, too. You can come around any time.
Board: Thank you

Me: hmm...so...What was your favorite food when you were alive?
Board: Beef

Me: Beef?
Board: Yes

Me: What else did you like?
Board: Meat

Me: All kinds of meats?
Board: Yes

Me: Were you a drinker?
Board: Yes

Me: We're drinkers too.
Board: I know

Me: What was your favorite drink?
Board: Beer

Me: What kind of beer?
Board: (no movement)

Me: What brand? I like Yeungling.
Board: Homemade

Me: Ohhh, I guess they didn't have brands or what?
Board: Yes

Me: You don't eat in the afterlife, right?
Board: No

Me: Do you miss not eating?
Board: No

Me: Do you ever want to have sex?
Board: No

Me: You don't miss it?
Board: No

Me: Why not?
Board: Because your senses are amazing here

Me: Do you miss anything about being alive?
Board: My wife

Me: Awe, I'm sorry. I remember you said she's not with you. Is anyone you love with you?
Board: No

Me: Where are all your friends and family?
Board: They all went back

Me: Back to be born?
Board: Yes

Me: Do you choose when you can be born?
Board: Yes

Me: When are you going back?
Board: Soon

Me: You should come back in a year and be my baby! Hahaha
Board: No

Me: Why not?
Board: Does not work like that

Me: Twins run in my family, will I have twins?
Board: Can't tell you that

Me: Well can you tell me something about my future baby?
Board: Sports

Me: They'll be good at sports?
Board: Yes and singing

Me: That sounds like me and Jason's kid!
Board: Yes

Me: So if you're alone, where is your soul mate?
Board: never met

Me: Why didn't you meet them?
Board: young soul

Me: Your soul is young?
Board: Yes

Me: Are we going to heaven?
Board: Yes

Me: Can I bring Zelda to Heaven with me? (my favorite cat)
Board: No

Me: Why not??
Board: She will be there waiting for you

Me: Awe, my Zelda! I guess she wouldn't live as long as I do.

Board: Matthew

Me: Where does he live?
Board: New Hampshire (we live in PA)

Me: How old is he?
Board: 25

Me: Does he know you?
Board: No

Me: You just watch out for him?
Board: Yes

Me: Did you stay here the whole time since the last time we talked to you, or did you come back?
Board: back

Me: Well, can we talk to you in a little bit?
Board: Yes
