On December 27, 2009 I received an e-mail from Ali about an interesting ouija board experience:


Honestly, I don't know if I even believe this. But this is what happened!

I was down the shore with my two aunts, uncle, and various different cousins. That summer, whenever we went down the shore, we'd take a piece of cardboard and make a Ouija board. We got in touch with a bunch of different spirits, but one that I will never forget is the king of pop himself, Michael Jackson.

We all stayed up late, it was probably around 2 AM. We shut all the lights off, and lit some candles. I got a glass cup to use to point out the letters, and we all sat down. My guy cousins were the ones who started asking for Michael. Whenever we'd get a spirit, they'd ask, "Is MJ with you? Have you seen MJ around in heaven?" Most of the ghosts would say no, but only the ones who had said they were in heaven.

Once we finally did make contact with MJ, it was creepy to say the least. Honestly, I don't know if it was really Michael Jackson. But everything we asked he had a quick answer to. He kept saying he liked my guy cousins, and watched me in the shower. He called me a slut, and my guy cousins mean. He also admitted to molesting those boys. Needless to say, we were all really creeped out. But we couldn't stop, because it was funny, too. Something that kept happening was the cup circling the board over and over again very fast. My sister was also with us. She really doesn't believe in the board, and her one finger was the only one on it one of the times the cups circled. She took her finger off, and we all saw the cup circle one more time around, and then fly off the table. She swears that she wasn't moving it. I believe her, because how could she have moved it once her finger was off it?

Once we said good bye, we all slept next to each other, scared the ghost of MJ was coming to get us. I won't lie, the next time I was in the shower, I wondered if he was watching.
