Lost Ring

October 22, 2007

On October 22, 2007 I received an e-mail from Acelynde Nielsen about an interesting ouija board experience:

Ok, I never really believed in any of this ouija board stuff until just recently. My friend Lauren and I bought a Ouija board at a toy store because it's near Halloween. We decided to mess around and see what it was like to use a ouija board. When we got it home we asked random questions for a while, and about half way through our session my boyfriend called. He was looking for his ring that used to be his grandfather's (his grandfather is deceased). I told him that I didn't get why he was looking for it again because it had been lost for about six months, but he refused to give up. So just to be smart asses, Lauren and I asked the Ouija board where his ring was and it said "AV." Since my boyfriend is a video game geek, I knew he had some AV cords in his room, and I told him to look there. He looked through the tangle and couldn't find it. Then he told me to ask the board if it was under the spot where the AV cords were. It said yes, and Justin looked there. And sure enough, there it was. I was soooo freaked out and ever since I have never doubted Ouija boards.
