Since I've been stuck inside due to all of the ice and snow we got here in Columbus, I was able to get an update ready for this week. It's a pretty big one with some really cool cemeteries! Here's the list of new/updated pages:

  1. Added photos from the Chillicothe Correctional Institute Cemetery - Chillicothe, Ohio (Ross County)
  2. Added photos from Crispin Cemetery - Centerfield, Ohio (Highland County)
  3. Added photos from Massie's Creek Cemetery - Cedarville, Ohio (Greene County)
  4. Added photos from the Ohio Home Cemetery - Delaware, Ohio (Delaware County)
  5. Added photos from Saint Charles Cemetery - South Charleston, Ohio (Clark County)
  6. Added photos from Staunton Cemetery - Staunton, Ohio (Fayette County)
  7. Replaced photos on the Elisabeth's Grave page...got rid of all the old scanned photos and replaced them with new digital photos. Also added a story about my most recent visit to the cemetery.
  8. Added a new story submitted by Brittany Baker to the Mary Jane's Grave page.
  9. Added a new story submitted by Amber Berry to the Elisabeth's Grave page.
  10. Added six new stories to the ouija board section:

  11. Added lots of people to the Thank You page.
  12. Added two new links:

That's all for this week! For the most part, the site should be up and running fine. I'm sure there are probably a few pages or photos I've forgotten to upload though...if you find any problems with any of the pages, please send me an e-mail and I'll get it fixed ASAP!

Maybe I was being a little optimistic when I said there would hopefully be very little downtime...the domain name is already pointing to the new server! While I'm happy that the change happened so fast, I really wasn't expecting it :) Therefore, you'll see lots of missing photos. I've uploaded all of the html files, but I've just started on the photos. My goal is to have them all FTP'd to the site by the end of Wednesday night...we'll see how close I come to making that goal ;) Please be patient for just a few more days, then the site should hopefully be back to normal.

I'm still going to try and have an update ready for this week, however there's a chance I may not have the time to get it finished. I swear I'm still working on the site though...right now I'm in the process of changing webhosting companies. And that means I have to upload all 350MB of photos and files to the new server!! I'm trying to minimize any downtime, but I'm sure there will be a little. Hopefully the transition will go smoothly though, and the site will be up and running like new very, very soon!

Thanks so much for your patience, and thank you for stopping by! I have plenty of updates planned (I have photos from 41 cemeteries that I still need to add, and I'm constantly visiting new ones so that number just keeps growing!), so check back soon :)

The first update of December has been completed! Here's the list of new/updated pages:

That's all for this week. I still have eighteen cemeteries that I've visited the past few weeks that I need to add to the site, and I'm planning to visit many more in the near future. Here's hoping the decent weather sticks around, I'm not sure that I'm ready for ice and snow yet :)
