I'll address the lack of an update for last week a little later, but for now I'll list the new/updated pages added this week! Here's the list:
- Added photos from Bourneville Methodist Cemetery - Bourneville, Ohio (Ross County)
- Added photos from Cynthiana Cemetery - Cynthiana, Ohio (Pike County)
- Added photos from Grand Prairie Cemetery - Morral, Ohio (Marion County)
- Added photos from Range Township Cemetery - Midway, Ohio (Madison County)
- Added photos of Virginia City Cemetery in Virginia City, Nevada that were submitted by Bob Codeglia. This cemetery looks awesome, I'd love to see it in person someday!
- Added Bob to the Thank You page.
- Added a new link, The Funeral Parlor, to the Links page.
That's it for this week. Now about last week's skipped update...
I've been BUSY lately! I tried really hard to get the update completed, but I was obviously unsuccessful. However, now that winter is almost here in Ohio I'll be cutting the updates down to once every other week. Sure, there will probably be a few times when I'll be able to update weekly, but I just want everyone to be warned that I'm not going to promise a weekly update until the first week of April 2005 :) But that doesn't mean I won't be working on the site every week! I am planning to improve navigation, especially on the cemetery page. This includes adding the option to view lists of cemeteries by township/state. Also, I'll be reviewing all of the cemetery pages to make sure township info is included on each and every page. Another revision I plan on making to the cemetery pages is adding coordinates for all the cemeteries I have this information for. I've been informed that cemeteries are a popular place for those involved with geocaching, and the feedback I've received has made me think that including coordinates (when known) will be beneficial. In fact, I have started to add coordinates with the new cemetery additions for this week.
Hopefully all the changes I have planned will help the site become even better! As always, if you have any suggestions for improvements you'd like to see, feel free to e-mail me...I really do appreciate your feedback :)
Thanks so much for visiting, and please stop by again soon!
